Philip’s background consists of working at Cable & Wireless for several years in various senior roles. Philip transitioned into senior commercial roles on attaining his Master’s of Business Administration (MBA Hons) with distinction from Durham Business School. As Vice-President of Business Development, Philip had joint responsibility for the Enterprise and Government sales teams across the Caribbean, successfully managing the regional sales pipeline and delivering year-on-year growth. With the executive strategy team reporting to the CEO, Philip held responsibility for the financial modeling and programme management of future lines of business, including mergers and acquisitions.

As part of the Barbados Investment & Development Corporation (BIDC) trade delegations, Philip has spoken at several investor development events in Guatemala, Toronto and Washington and has lectured in Telecommunications Regulation & Policy at the University of The West Indies (UWI). He spent several years in the British Territorial Army and the Barbados Defence Force (reserves) as an army officer, commissioned at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, UK.
